The DMT® Diafold® Flat File is purpose built for confined and/or narrow sharpening tasks.
Only 1/16" thick, the Flat File features a diamond surface on one side and tapers from the base at 3/4" to 1/4".
- This particular model is equipped with coarse diamond (45 micron/ 325 mesh) to quickly restore neglected edges, and like all Diafold® Flat Files, is conveniently sized at 9 1/2" open and 5" closed
- The folding plastic handles also protect file when not in use
- Additionally, thanks to the micronized monocrystalline diamond surface, the Flat File hones in a fraction of the time required by conventional files
- No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water
